April 2021
April 6, 2021 - (Program) Guest Speaker Shari Miller. Macrophotography.
Presentation Title:
"Embracing the Process, Practicing Gratitude: Learning to See Beauty in the Small Things"
Description: Using stories and lessons from her own journey, Shari will share how embracing the creative process allowed her inner artist, abandoned for decades, to emerge again and how a gratitude challenge led her to find - and photograph - beauty in the small things.
Shari is asking that each of us in attendance to "find some small bit of nature to have with them during the Zoom call. This could be a leaf, an acorn, a feather, a shell, a dried piece of plant, whatever! It will be used for one interactive part of the event. (As a former teacher, I prefer to be less of a "lecturer" and more of a "facilitator of a conversation!")
😉
Just a reminder that our 'show and tell' portion of the April 6 meeting will be somewhat constrained by time. Therefore we ask that images shared should be limited to four/member.
